A Continued Partnership With Grant Wistrom

Grant Wistrom is an All-Star on and off the football field. If you’re from Nebraska, you may know him from his time as a University of Nebraska Cornhusker, where he was a two-time All-American. If you’re a fan of the NFL, you may recognize the name from the Super Bowl winning St. Louis Rams team from Super Bowl XXXIV or his run with the Seattle Seahawks from 2004-2006. But besides a football legend, many also know Wistrom as a colleague, a friend, and few even know him as ‘dad’.

At Gershman Mortgage, Grant is known as our #1 fan. With Wistrom’s background in philanthropy and investing in communities, it was clear there was a natural culture fit between Grant Wistrom and Gershman Mortgage. That’s why when Gershman decided to open a branch in Nebraska, we looked no further than partnering with Wistrom, given his deep roots in the community that fueled his NFL career.

Gershman Mortgage is grateful for Senior Vice President, Jack Langley, in seeking out the incredible partnership with Grant, which began in 2008 stemming from a discussion to open a Gershman Mortgage branch.  Grant has been a part of our roster ever since. We are excited to announce, Gershman Mortgage now has two thriving branches in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. A huge thanks goes out to Jack and his forethought to engage Grant Wistrom.
